All coaches are expected to bring their skates and helmet for tryouts/shinny in case we need someone on the ice.

Coaching

If you have not registered to coach for the 2022/2023 season please apply at https://www.dollardhockey.ca/coaches.

If you plan to coach this year, please bring your skates, helmet gloves and stick as you may be asked to go on the ice and help. Lastly with single letter tryouts starting on Sept. 10th we are asking all parents wanting to coach to stay and evaluate both sessions the children participate in.

We are also having a special series of Coaching interactive sessions. This Monday Sept. 4th at 8:30pm we will be holding our first in a series of virtual get togethers to discuss coaching and tactics for all levels. First up, Brian Berenson, Dollard Hockey's Double Letter Governor with experience in Coaching single letters up to AAA will be discussing how you players can be evaluated and what you should be focusing on at each level. The discussion then moves to how do you translate this evaluation and weigh the possibilities when selecting a team. If you would like to participate please contact us at info@dollardhockey.ca
